We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical:
Senior General (GL)
Accountant to ensure the accuracy and integrity of the company's financial records by maintaining the general ledger and supporting the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing journal entries, performing account reconciliations, managing fixed assets and construction-in-progress (CIP) records, supporting tax and audit requirements, and ensuring compliance with IFRS, accounting standards, internal controls, and company policies. Working closely with Treasury, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Costing, and other Finance teams, the GL Accountant will contribute to delivering accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting while driving continuous process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the finance function.
Job Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in General Ledger Accounting or Record-to-Report (R2R).
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, IFRS, and month-end closing activities.
- Experience with fixed assets, reconciliations, accruals, provisions, and intercompany accounting.
- Familiarity with tax regulations and statutory reporting requirements.
- Experience using ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Odoo, or similar ERP systems.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reconciliation skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Senior Accounts Payable Accountant
to join our growing Finance team and play a key role in ensuring financial accuracy and operational excellence.
He is responsible for managing the end-to-end accounts payable process, ensuring the accurate and timely processing of vendor invoices, payments, and reconciliations. The role supports month-end and year-end closing activities, maintains compliance with company policies and tax regulations, coordinates with Treasury to optimize cash flow, and ensures strong vendor relationships while supporting audit requirements and financial reporting.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3–4 years of experience in Accounts Payable within a medium or large-sized organization.
- Solid understanding of Accounts Payable processes, including invoice processing, three-way matching (PO, GRN, Invoice), vendor reconciliations, and payment cycles.
- Experience with month-end and year-end closing activities, including AP subledger reconciliations and accrual support.
- Good knowledge of tax regulations related to Accounts Payable, including VAT and Withholding Tax (WHT).
- Experience working with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar).
- Good command of written and spoken English.

JOB SUMMARY:
We are looking for highly motivated and detail-oriented General Accountants to join our finance team immediately. The ideal candidates will have a solid foundation in general accounting paired with hands-on experience in treasury management and daily banking operations. You will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial records, optimizing cash flow, and maintaining strong relationships with our banking partners.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Record daily GL entries (AP/AR) and handle month-end closings (accruals/adjustments).
· Reconcile supplier, customer, and intercompany balances.
· Prepare P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow per Egyptian Accounting Standards.
· Maintain organized, auditable financial records.
Treasury & Cash:
· Manage daily cash positions and short-term liquidity forecasts.
· Execute treasury ops: wire transfers, cheques, bank deposits, LCs, and LGs.
· Monitor and negotiate banking fees, interest rates, and charges.
Banking Relations:
· Perform daily/monthly bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
· Act as primary bank contact for inquiries, signatures, and account issues.
· Comply strictly with CBE regulations for FX transactions and transfers.
Tax & Audit Support:
· Support VAT, WHT, and payroll tax filings (especially banking-related).
· Assist external auditors with cash and bank schedules/documentation.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
· Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.· Experience: Minimum 5 years+ of relevant accounting experience, with at least 2 years dedicated specifically to Treasury and Banking functions (within Egypt).
· Technical Skills:· Proficient in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, complex formulas) and accounting software (ERP systems preferred).
· Strong knowledge of Egyptian banking procedures, LC/LG processing, and local tax regulations (VAT, WHT).
· Soft Skills:· Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical thinking.
· Ability to work under pressure and meet tight monthly deadlines.· Excellent communication skills to effectively deal with bank officials and internal stakeholders.· Availability: Must be available to join immediately or within 1 week.
