Planning Manager
for our Planning team at our HQ located at Kattameya
Main Job Purpose: Leading, directing and overseeing the construction planning and scheduling effort, and planning/maintaining company systems, procedures as well as encouraging optimum performance of the planning department subordinates based on the industry best practices.
Accountabilities:
1.Receive the strategic plan for the department from the direct manager to cascade it on the team members.
2.Coach, mentor and develop staff, including overseeing new employee onboarding and providing career development planning and opportunities.
3.Participate in enhancing workplace culture that is consistent with the overall organizations.
4.Lead, direct and oversee the construction planning and scheduling efforts and recommend corrective actions when needed.
5. Set the internal quality standards for the planning process to align all team members.
6.Review periodical reports and spreadsheets, to monitor and measure departmental productivity, goal achievement, and overall effectiveness.
7.Maintain sustainable communication channels between different departments/sections in the company to ensure common grounds for all team members.
8. Plan all the human resources in the team based on the projects’ priorities based on the departmental strategy to fill all the vacant positions to start implementation (allocation and reallocation).
9. Consolidate and review the periodical reports submitted to the senior management.
10.Plan, evaluate, and improve the efficiency of business processes and procedures to enhance speed, quality, efficiency, and output.
11.Set planning team annual individual objectives and evaluate their performance.
12.Ensure fulfilling the departmental KPIs.
13.Comply with the company management system according to ISO standards ISO 9001:2015, ISO 45001:2018 & ISO 14001:2015.
14.Support in handling other assignments within the scope of the department if required to facilitate achieving the departmental goals.
